Hey guys, I made a home movie and when i try to burn it (make a VIDEO_TS folder) i press output, and then it says Converting Videos......it hits 100% in like 5 mins, then starts again, and like 40 mins later it stops and gives me the 80041c21 error. I did a search on google and NOTHING useful.
Please someone help me, I have no idea what to do - I can just make a DVD file (i think its MPG) or a DV file......and then burn it with another program, but I want menus.....whats good to do this with?
Thanks![]()

If you go to the Ulead forums (at http://news.ulead.com:8080/~webutilities) you will find lots of people with the same problem.
Here is an answer from Ulead tech support on someone with a similar issue:
"It is usually because some frames of the source clip are destroyed while
capturing, our mpeg encoder can't figure out the frames and cause the error message. Usually, it's better to re-capture the video clip if the problem is caused by the video.
Please re-import video files into UVS Video Library to re-edit, then
re-render the project file. And to avoid the unnecessary conflict, close all
applications running including the anti-virus. Remove Screen Savers or
Wallpapers. Then try again. If the problem still persists, please check
these:
1. Are the captured video smooth without drop-frame problem while capturing and before rendering/burning?
2. Compatibility of the hardware/burner with the program:
http://www.ulead.com/vs/compatibility.htm"
You can find lots more at the Ulead forum website. -
What were the precise video/audio properties of your source media?
For example, I sometimes import DVD-compliant MPEG-2 files into Ulead VideoStudio 7's DVD authoring module.
These source files were originally DV .avi files that were converted to MPEG-2.
Their precise video/audio properties are as follows:
NTSC drop frame (29.97 fps)
MPEG files
24 Bits, 720 x 480, 29.97 fps
Field Order A
(DVD-NTSC), 4:3
Video data rate: Variable (Max. 8264 kbps)
LPCM Audio, 48 KHz, Stereo
I have written a step-by-step tutorial:
http://www.jonesgroup.net/videostudiodvdstepone.htm
But perhaps your source files are quite different.
What are their properties?
Also, the latest CD/DVD Burner Compatibility Patch for the DVD authoring module of Ulead VideoStudio 7 can be downloaded from the following FTP:
ftp://ftp.ulead.com/pub/Updates/DVDPlugin1.0/030815/DVD_PLUGIN_Patch_E_030815.exe
In addition, the latest update patch for ULEAD VideoStudio 7 is available for download from the Web page at the following link:
http://www.ulead.com/tech/vs/vs_ftp.htm
Hope this helps,
Jerry Jones
