    I'm thinking about getting a new dvd player, but I want to know which ones are good... first off, for those of you who say you have a good one...

    1. How does it act as a stand alone dvd player
    2. How is it with svcd and vcd....
    3. what is ur final rating out of 10

    the best would be a player that plays (s)vcd and cd-r(w) disc.
    the brand should be pioneer or sony becuase they are really reliable in quality and durablity
