PC VCR

I am wondering if any of you out in cyberland have used any PC VCR software. I just bought a NEC PV-S98A which connects to the serial port of a PC for video editing. I never had seen one of these before and thought I would see what is available for software. The unit looks interesting and the price was fantastic for a $1300.00 VCR. I am being sent the original source code in C and am hoping the Windows version is usable on my OS.

ANYBODY USE THIS KIND OF SOFTWARE??????

Just recieved the source code in C and the .exe software for the PC-VCR I bought on Ebay. What a fantastic find in the haystack. I will rewrite the source and implement some of the code from Vdub into the application. I will now have a professional SVHS player with some powerful editing and filtering capabilities. It will be the best Christmas present I have got for a mere $20.00.
