Newbie just hooked-up SVHS VCR S-video cable to Canopus ADVC-100. No problems capturing video using UNLEAD VideoStudio 7, but I'm not getting any audio. It may be something really simple, but I sure can't see (i.e. hear) it.
I am using a new SIIG PCI FireWire and I believe it has a TI chipset, but I thought I read that the newer TI chipsets works ok with them now.
Any ideas ?

The S video cable does not carry audio. You need
separate audio connections. -
Thanks, now for one more silly question.
Is the S-Video cable a better (higher quality or preferred) cable to use for analog transfering over the RCA video cable ? -
