burning to dvd after using shrink

Can I use dvd decrypter to burn a backup of dvd after I have reauthored in dvd shrink?

DVD Decrypter burns image files so you would have to create an image file of your output folder from DVD Shrink (VIDEO_TS)

a little guide on how to create an image , I found this the other day

What I normally do is:

1) Make a folder (eg. burnme)
2) Place VIDEO_TS folder folder (as sub-folder)
3) Make a AUDIO_TS folder
4) Point to my root dir (burnme) then generate ISO image

I then burn with DVD Decrypter. Works great no coasters to date.

Or you could try AutoshrinkISO, it lets DVDshrink use DVD Decrypter and simplifies the whole process.

I was a little confused on how auto shrink worked. Do I reauthor first, or do I just open up auto shrink.

Also, are there any alternative programs that will burn the reauthored dvd file from dvd shrink.

AutoshrinkISO is just a front end to DVDshrink. It simplifies the process. It basically opens DVDshrink, where you choose your options. Then after DVDshrink is done, it uses the free program DVDDecrypter to burn your files to DVD. The real advantage is simplicity and free programs. You still have all the options in DVDshrink to use.

Now, do you lose any quality when converting the ripped dvd file on your hd to an iso file so dvd decrypter can burn it.

I was just a little hesitant on converting to an iso file.
