  1. I know this topic has come up a bit, about the subtitles and such being cut off when converting the files from one format to the other. My TV as well cuts a portion of the top and bottom of the screen. My LX9 Portable DVD player also cuts out part of the picture, but it cuts out the sides of the screen.

I've read many topics of how to deal with this, essentially it came down to Centering the Video Arrange Method and changing the pixel size of the width and height by about 15 or so pixels (Meaning you have to subtract what you originally have by 15 or so). I've tried this and the picture comes out way too small. Also I still have the issue regarding not only the top and bottom but the sides as well. I've been using VDub to Save the WAV, then TMPGenc to convert to DVD MPEG. I'm trying to convert some anime that I have into DVD, but it's not faring well when I watch the results on TV.

Anyone have a solution which they themselves have personally used and works? Please help me with this, this will also help the many other people as well, who are having problems with this issue.

Here are the specs of one of the AVIs which I'm trying to convert:
    640x480 Frame Size
    23.981fps
    Data Rate 986kbps

(The DVDs I tried were done in Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio) 320x240; I used the DVD Template (NTSC) in TMPGenc)
Is there any way to convert into a widescreenish format or something? I'm sure this will help many other people as well, I've searched through the forums and found many solutions but none seemed to work well.

    Thanks! And Good Day!
