    Hi all,

I'm using SCENALYZER for cutting my videos (DV) into pieces.
When checking the files with Windows Media Player, video and audio are NOT in synch. Why and what is the easiest way to avoid this? Tools?

    Thank you, Rainer

  2. I had a lot of sync problems because my capture card won't run any higher than 44.1k at audio capture, and players/burning software usually automatically up sample to 48k, or playback NTSC audio at 48k, regardless of the recorded format. My only solution has been to open the file in Sound forge 6, change the sample rate (but NOT resample). This has worked for me, and may not be your problem at all, but it solved my sync issues to always work in 48k audio even if it is pain to have to two-step the process.

As long as you have 48k audio matched to your video stream you can export to any number of formats and sync stays in line. Otherwise, you get that dubbed in audio effect of lips moving without sound, or sound without lips, like the Reisen's candy commercial or any Godzilla movie in English.
