I was reding the menuedit homepage and i it says that "Delete cell/vob. " !

Thoese this means that menuedit is like dvdstripper !!, it removes extras from a dvd .

No, menuedit can be used to delete a button from a menu itself, thats why its called menuedit.

I take it you don't use MenuEdit. Read and be enlightened.

I've been a registered user of menuedit for almost 6 months now.

The feature in question is a side feature of the program, but it main reason to exist is to delete buttons, thus edit menus.

I'm confused! You said "No...". MenuEdit does work with the buttons and does it well, but it also "works" with movie VOBs. We are both right so which part of almeida's post were you responding "No" to.

  6. OK. Thanks !

Can you please tell me if there's a "editor" like the one that some pleople use on IC7 to use on clonedvd ?
I was thinking that if there's a editor to edit the options on clonedvd in order to remove the extras but to stop the program to compress.(i think that clonedvd compresses very badly ), then i would use dvd2one or dvshrink to compress it !
    Is this possible?

Menuedit does indeed offer stripping features , it's just the name is misleading. It's one great tool with it's menu editing also but you have to manually rip and strip every VOB/Cell and then use Ifoedit to rebuild the DVD

DVDStripper allows you to strip and/or split the whole DVD in one automated rip and automated rebuild,. It will only take 5-15 minutes usertime to choose what to cut once you get used to it as it allows more than just title removal

you will probably ask which is the best tool out of the two? and the answer from most who have both is both of them used together is the best option

I know they ain't free but DS is on a XMAS special at the minute for a £5/$9/€8 and Menuedit is worth it's price just for the menu features alone. I think it's around $25 for the pair which is half the price of CloneDVD yet you get a lot more editing features than any tool can offer

the final piece of the puzzle for most is DVDShrink which is free

I was replying no the the suggestion that DVDstripper can be used instead of menuedit, then pointed out the difference. It can actually edit menus.
