CD/DVD Drives actin funny

I just installed a Sony dru-510 internal in my PC. The PC already had a DVD rom, so I made the sony the master and the DVD rom the slave. Everything works. After a few hours of running the PC. My two drives just stop reading or writing. I reboot the PC and all is well again. Anyone ever see anything like this.

Hmmm

I un-installed INCD from nero and now it has not happened. Could this be the issue? What should I use to write to +RW disks like a floppy.

It could be the problem - I had the same sort of problem with my setup, and that was down to InCD as well.

As for other forms of packet writing software, try Roxio to see if their plugin is still available - it was part of their Easy CD Creator at one point, and I seem to recall you could download the reader as a plugin. You might find the packet writing side is also available. I am sure someone else on the boards could suggest some packet writing software.

If not, check out the Mount Rainier website - I would expect them to have some links of interest.
