I've been recording things from satellite in .avi format. Then I take tmpgenc plus and encode it, then take that to dvd-lab to burn. Problem is, my Sony home dvd player crapped out on me and is sent in for repairs. I snagged some of those cheap Apex dvd players from Wal-Marts Thanksgiving sale.
These will play any ripped dvd's that I've done with DVD Shrink. But the ones that I've recorded from satellite and burned, they will play, but the audio sounds really strange.
So, is there a way to take that recorded .avi video and convert it into vob files so I can burn it with RecordNow on my Sony DRU-500? That's been working perfect for the dvd rips.
Thanks!
