  1. I have bin/cue files obtaines from a test sample https://www.videohelp.com/svcd.htm
I have extracted the files and have followed the steps with Isobuster BIN/CUE SVCD to MPG
    Install and run Isobuster.
Select File->Open Image File and open the CUE file.
    Click on the MPEG2 folder.
Select all mpg files and right click and select Extract but filter only M2F2 Mpg frames.
Save the new file as filename.mpg. Then tried to load it in Nero Express to burn to SVCD but it says
The video file is not S VCD compliant
To autimatically re-encode the video to SVCD format using Nero MPEG-2 /SVCD pluggin, please visit our webshop and find more about the high quality encoder

    Why don't you just burn the cue/bin ? It's a disk image

OR a disk image of a SVCD
bin/cue file are pre compiled raw images of a CD CONTAINING an MPEG2

    do this
    Get Daemon tools installed
it makes a fake CD drive.
load your bin cue into it and you will have a new drive on your computer
with a SVCD in it which you can examine and play
    then you might believe me

  5. Or just get Fireburner or Alcohol 120% and simply burn it.

you can use Daemon tools to mount the cue/bin and copy CD from Virtual drive > CDRW (although I don't see the point).

  6. Sorry im new to this, i didn't explain it properly. I would like to have a SVCD to test my standalone DVD player to see if it plays them. I found the cue/bin files and want to burn them to a svcd. How would i do that? It wont let me burn the cue/bin files to svcd.

I dont think my burn tool Nero can burn to SVCD. Are there any free tools that can?

  7. 1. Load NERO and close the wizard.
    2. Go to FILE (Top left of Nero Window) and selct BURN IMAGE.
    3. Browse to the location of the BIN/CUE file.
    4. Select the CUE file.
    5. Burn it to a CD.

That's it. The BIN/CUE file is a SVCD image already formatted and ready to burn. No need to extract the MPEG and re-burn to SVCD. It is already an SVCD. REALLY !!!
