I came across this movie on the internet. And i want to know how this is done. It said something about putting the still frames after each other and
    then animating them.

Could somebody give me some information..?

I have vegas 4.0 and adobe after effects.

    Thanks..!

There are probably a couple of ways to do this, but my first thought is to get the stills where you want them, then either a) try a chroma key filter, or b) open in photoshop and clear everything else out. Then put the stills in a higher video track for the duration that you want.

For the first part of the clip, you will have to do this a couple of times, then make use of the zoom and pan of the original, then overlay it onto the other video.

To do this will take you a while. It isn't that hard, but time consuming, so you really have to want to do it.

Maybe housepig or bugster would know another way, they are both more experienced than I.

Don't have Affter Effects so I don't know about that part.

  4. lgh529 is correct, you need to extract the stills and overlay them on the video using a Chroma key. 'fraid I dont have Vegas so can't give you details.
