Ok, I have had Intel App. Accelerator on this system for awhile now and as far as I can remember have had nothing but difficulty with my DVD-Rom Drive. The read speed on some DVDs is at 2.0 or lower and others of the same quality at 7.0 or higher. Even when I am just wanting to watch a factory produced DVD like LOTR or Back to the future, the drive will for some reason just freeze up during play. Do you think this accelerator from Intel may be causing probs. or would I just have a dirty DVD lens that could use a good cleaning because it seems to me that if anything, the DVD should at least be playable and watchable ya know!

Isn't Intel App Accc only for those who have Intel Integrated gfx? I have App Acc b/c I have Intel 82810E GFX

Not necessarily. It's for anyone with an Intel CPU.
Turns out, all the information I read online was right. It wasn't allowing my DVD drive to properly read the DVD's. Plus, I don't really need it on this system anyway since I never really noticed any differences.
