  1. Hello

For some days ago i started to get a error wene i was going to burn w/ Nero 6. It says that the file is to big to fit on dvd. Wene i check the size of the movie in Explorer it says its 4,3gig but nero says that its bigger. How can i fix this?

Im using SmartRipper for ripping and DVDShrink for shrinking. I havnt search for the answer in this forum yet because the search part didnt seems to work w/ i wrote this.

    Please help me

  2. Not too familiar with DVDShrink, but there must be a setting to compress the file to a certain size. Try setting that value to less than 4480Mb (to give yourself a little bit of room). This is assuming you are indeed using a 4.7GB (4.3GB) DVD.
Or, try DVD2one. Maybe it'll shrink the movie a bit more for you.

    Best of Luck,

It likely has sumthin to do with the fact that yer ripping and shrinking with the 2 different programs. Try using DVD Shrink to do both, and make sure you have the output set to dvdr size.

  4. lol, this happened to me too. Are you using dvd+r media? If you're using +r, you're going to have to reduce the disk size in dvdshrink by about 5mb (do 10 just to be safe). I shrunk a movie according to the default dvdshrink size..when burned on a dvd-r it fit, but on a dvd+r, did not.

  5. Welcome to the forums, USiT.

If Kingnog's case doesn't apply to you, what release of Nero 6 are you using?
Have you tried with v5.5 or another burning software?
