  2. If you are trying to burn as VCD the mpeg has to meet strict specifications for resolution and bitrate. If the mpeg file does not meet these specifications then nero will try to reencode it to make the file VCD compliant.

    You have 3 options.

Turn off standard compliance in Nero and create an XVCD, this may or may not play on your standalone DVD player. When you select VCD as a new compilation in nero on the Video CD tab there is a check box for create standard compliant CD. Uncheck it.

Re-encode the file to make it VCD compliant. Dont use Nero for this as it is a poor encoder, use TMPGEnc. You can then use Nero to burn your compliant VCD

Burn the mpeg file as data to a CDR. Some DVD players can play raw mpeg files but not many.

  3. Hi Craig
    How do I make this?

Re-encode the file to make it VCD compliant. Dont use Nero for this as it is a poor encoder, use TMPGEnc.

I encode the mpeg with TMPGEnc and still recieve the same message.

    Thanks
