Hi,
I want to burn 4X DVD-R (Datawrite Red v2 4X). Whereas these DVD-R are 4X compatible, I want to burn them at 2X for a compatibility reason.
In any burning software (Nero or Alcohol), I choose the 2X writing speed but when the recording starts, the writing speed is always set at 4X
It is like the burner detects the DVD-R max recording speed and overloads my choice ...
I try also with Princo DVD-RW 2X, and it is the same problem : I try to burn them a 1X but when the recording starts, the burning speed is always set at 2X.
I am using a pioneer DVR 106 (firmware revision is 1.07, non hacked version)
Anyone has an idea to solve the problem ?
Thanks a lot
stef
