    When there are errors in written media that are detected by programs like dvdinfopro......... those errors were in the media before it was written correct? Those errors would of been there regardless whether it written at 1x or 4x ...correct?

    Those errors are usually dvd related burns,not media .Poor media tends to show more errors after being burned.
