Anybody know how to convert .rm (Real one media) to dvd?
The way I'm doing it right now is using realtime converter. The only problem is, it converts it to .avi uncompressed first (which takes just as long as the video... 1hr of video takes 1 hr) Then I render it in vegas 4.0 to .mpg, which also takes a lot of time. I'm looking for a way just to convert it directly to mpg for dvd.

  2. Just use one of the programs in the Tools section that do multiple conversion. Maybe something like Zoom Player. I think that does .rm to .mpg. Then just use VirtualDub to encode to AVI or TMPGEnc to convert to MPEG-2 for DVD, I guess.
