I'm using DVD2SVCD. I used ver 1.1.0 and 1.2.0 and downloaded the 'stable' version of besweet. But when I get to the stage of besweet, it crashes (besweet in particular). I've since changed mobo, CPU since I was last able to run DVD2SVCD fine. Any way I can incorporate a different audio program into DVD2SVCD or any fixes?
Thanks.

I had the same problem for weeks -- Error with Windows XP, DVD2SVCD and BeSweet while converting DVD's to SVCD. I was finally able to determine the cause of mine --- CPU instability due to O/C @ too low a VCore.
Many times a system that seems 100% stable and run everything else fine will crater during audio and video encoding. Mine was intermittent, with BeSweet sometimes completing, but more often than not -- BeSweet would just crash and produce an error with an option to send info. to MS.
Audio/Video encoding is VERY CPU intensive and will cause errors where other tests (SANDRA Burn-in, 3DMark, etc.), will not. Try running the latest version of Prime95 (23.7.1 or greater) and execute the "Small FFT's" torture test. This isolates the CPU and gives it a thorough thrashing. Mine would pass the previous versions of Prime95 for 24 hour loops, but with the newest version and this test, it failed within 30-45 minutes -- clueing me in as to what may be going on with BeSweet. If you want to pound the RAM -- run the "Blend" torture test overnight.
I bumped my VCore to 1.725 from 1.70 and all is good !!!
Give it a shot !!

BTW -- I have a Athlon XP 2500+ (Barton) at 2.3GHx (3400+), 12.5X mulitplier and 185MHz FSB. KT-400 based mobo -- wish I had NForce2 -
Besweet will crash if you are encoding an avi file with a frame rate with something like 29.9650,check with virtualdub if thats the case, its not always system instability.

P.S. I just got my system up a few days ago so I'm still playing with it. -
I use a Vantec AeroFlow w/ TMD fan (70mm). Good cooling w/ a relatively quiet fan -- dumped my Gladiator/Delta (too noisy) quite some time ago and went for an Alpha 8045 w/ 80MM Sunon fan, but my new mobo doesn't have mounting holes, so now I have a Vantec. It's really a pretty good H/S with performance close to the Alpha.
Prime95 is an excellent tool for testing. If there is any weakness it and audio/video encodes will reveal them. IMHO -- It ain't stable if it can't pass 24 hours of "Blend" Prime95 torture test.
Here are my spec's ...
