Some of my friends have a site that make over $10,000 per month right now

Depends on what it is. You can sell stuff, charge for a subscription or place ad's and/or ask for donations.

I wrote a DVD guide a while back and made some $$$ just through paypal donations. I got fed up with all the emails with stupid questions though so I killed it.

Sorry I didn't answer earlier.......I thought someone else had responded. Anyways, to sell on ebay......you just have to get varified through them. Sign up is free.

They make their money when you sell a product. I believe to list a product you pay $1.15 or something small like that. Then your first picture is free as well as your text and everything. You can even get free counters. However, they try to get you to bold or italicize your text and make fancy menues. They charge an extra .05 or up to 50 cents to add extras like that. Then its also like .15 cents for every extra picture you want to throw in.

So they make their money off nickle and diming people. With all those lists and people adding the extras, it adds up fast.

I usually just go with 1 picture and the basic layout. Then write one hell of a good sales pitch to convince people to buy the product I am selling.

So it usually ends up costing me the $1.15 to just list the item. Not too bad if you ask me.

@ hatz and jeex...thanks for the info. I have a n64 thats collecting dust and I was just browsing through ebay and was shocked to see that people were selling their systems for $81(with a couple of games)! My system is in excellent condition and I have three games and it would be awesome if I could sell it for that price(since its collecting dust anyway). I'll put it up on ebay soon. Thanks again.
