I am about to author my first DVD. I have convert my avi file to m2v using MainConcept 1.4, and audio to ac3. My file is 25fps as it is PAL. Do I need to run it through Pulldown to convert it to 29.97fps before authoring it? I am planning to use either DVDLab or DVD Maestro. Is there any suggestion as to what authoring software I should use?
Thank you.

The correct framerate for PAL is 25fps. No pulldown or conversion to 29.97fps needed, assuming you want it to stay Pal. 29.97fps is the framerate for NTSC. If you want the final result to be NTSC you have more work to do.
