    well the question is
when i use ahead nero to burn avi, asf, wmv movies files to vcd... The quality is alright but the movies resolution already appears at 1045 * 480 resolutions instead of the normal 640 * 480 size.
The 1045 * 480 resolution result in two big black patches on top and bottom of the screens when I play the movies on full-screen size on any PC media players but not on my DVD player.
when I burn mpgs to vcds... the resolution is 640 * 480
    any explaination why

vcd`s are 352x240/288 resolution,I wouldnt worry about the screen size if they appear ok on a home dvd player.Windows own media player doesnt always show the video in the correct aspect ratio.
