If at first you don't succeed; call it version 1.0

Try using AnyDVD by Slyfox software...it automatically decrypts the movie immediately upon disc insertion. Now, with this program installed you can use ANY program to rip the dvd...Clone DVD, PrassiDVD, Pinnacle Instant Copy ect...ANY of them, it automatically makes the dvd decrypted and able to rip with any program that does not support decryption..I didn't believe it myself but its a wonderful little program. If you use it with CloneDVD you can make an 8 gig dvd into a single layer dvd with EXCELLENT quality in about a total of 2 hours. Don't forget it could be the disc itself....I have run into this problem myself and tried another dvd from somewhere else. There weren't any scratches on the disc just a bad factory press I presume. In addition, have found less problems using Slyfox's AnyDVD program...you may way to try that first.

I appreciate the advice, but I stuck it in my dvd writer drive instead of the dvd-rom I usually use to rip and it worked. But I will get anydvd because I have heard alot about it.
