    Ok,

I'm looking to write an IFO file creation tool (yeah I know, IFOEDIT exists, but I need a command line tool for what I want). Anyway, I thought I had it sussed until I came across VOBUs. From what I can tell these are entries in the VOB (or can be derived from the VOB).

So, anyone know the MPEG2/VOB file format (or where I can get it)?

    TIA

    Jukka

DVD is not secret. You just have to pay for it. Click here, and get your check book out.

I doubt you appreciate how difficult this is.
    But the more the merrier
Donald Graft has the Mpeg2 specs on his site.
Derrow has a large part of the DVD structure info on his

I have just gotten to where I can parse MPEG2 system streams
after about 2 months off and on. That's with the specs.
IFOs and VOBs will be harder due to more guesswork.

My goal started out as trying to find out why the MPEG2 editors
    can't do soft pulldown.
