Which CD-R and DVD-R /+R media will work with the Pioneer DVR-106D writer?

I suggest TYs for CDs, you can get them at RIMA or labels as Fuji in stores but only Fujis that are made in Japan on the package.
Try Ritek G04s for 4x -R disc, and for + most anything manufactuered by richoh should be fine. Check the DVD Media link in the left bar for more info. -
I 2nd those recommendations. I have been using only Taiyo Yuden CDR's for quite a while. Most of the new Fuji spindles say "Made in Taiwan" on them and are not Taiyo Yuden. Try to find Fuji's that say "Made in Japan" or maybe look for unbranded Taiyo Yuden. For DVD-R I have had the best results with RITEKG04's and with Fuji TYG01's. I had lots of problems with MXLRG01 on my Pioneer 106D.
