loop problems? PLEASE HELP

I've got an DVR-105. I use DVDShrink to convert to dvd5. I use nero to burn.

some movies are working, others aren't. this is using the same settings. when they don't work, I get a loop... it plays the very intro title thing, then it goes back to the DVD players "default" screen.

this DVDs work fine on my computer.

what is causing this?

any help would REALLY be appreciated

are you keeping menus and extras but removing some sound and subtitles
. dvd shrink caused the exact fault you are talking about for me. i now only use the reauthor function and have had no problems since. if youlike to keep menus use clone cd or dvdxcopy express.

ledled, this could be a DVD Shrink bug, due to the "code" it uses to tell the DVD player to go from one title to the next (it normally happens only in "Re-author" mode).
A possible workaround is to use your set-top player remote control to select the movie-title (or any other available title).
A new version of DVD Shrink is coming out soon, so if it's indeed a bug there are some good chances it'll be fixed then; no promises though.
