vcdgear, then demuxed with TMPGEnc and then remuxed with bbMPEG.
Burned with Nero and it seems to work fine with no cut off of the end
of the film. Hope this helps.</BLOCKQUOTE></FONT></TD></TR><TR><TD><HR size=1 color=black></TD></TR></TABLE>

I was wondering what he meant by demuxing and remuxing. Can someone tell me how to do this? I want to see the end of this darn good movie Hope ya can help!

  2. That's very funny, I had the exact same as problem. Same movie too Several great dudes here gave me the exact same solution you quoted me here. Here's the link for the topic http://www.vcdhelp.com/phpBB/viewtopic.php?topic=62370&forum=3

You can demux by using TMPGEnc under MPEG tools and choosing "Simple De-multiplex" which you give use separate audio & video files. Then use the "Pulldown" software to do the 2:3 as mentioned in the link on the .m2v file. You will then use bbMPEG to re-multiplex the new .m2v file with the existing audio file from TMPGEnc to have a perfect working mpg file ready to be burned with Nero or VCDImager. This solved the jerking/choppy problem for me.
I think you can use TMPGEnc to re-multiplex as well, but I don't think it's as reliable for that purpose. I recall hearing stories of missing frames, audio sync and screwed pictures occaisonally.
