How to play SVCD on a PHILIPS DVD750

Does anybody knows how to make a SVCD work on a Philips DVD750?? Propably i need a P-code to activate the SVCD option. Can anyboby help me with this

Yes you need a p-coe,
I can help you but you have to tell me what firmware do you have and what you're looking for (region 1 or 2, pal or ntsc, etc...).

Thankx.... I've upgraded the firmware from 6.2 to 7.12 and then entered the code. SVCD working properly now. Topic closed

Hi,
No it's not the p-code, for the firmware 9.28 you have to enter p-code 009.
Don't forgett to write your original p-code somewhere...

I thought that SVCD on the Philips 710 is only possible when set to region 1, or does firmware 9.28 makes a difference in this respect. Or is P-code 009 region 1?
