    i am useing TMPGE to encode AVI files captured with the Huffyuv codec. here are the filter questions...

    1-inverse telecine- i capture at 640x480 30fps. how can this filter benifit by converting to 24fps
    2-noise reduction- i am currently useing the default setting. can it be better? if so, how?
    3-sharpen edge- does it really make a difference? my captures are perfectly smooth.
    4-de-interlace- what is adaptaion?

    well that should cover it. i've sat for a long long time testing everything else and i've just about got my personal preferences licked except for these filters. my pc screen is just a little to small to look for the little details that show on my 36 inch tv set. if only the original AVI files were as small as the Mpegs forVCD's.
