    Is it possible to capture video in PAL format using a software through a NTSC camcorder?
    It may be stupid to ask this question. I have few Hi8 tapes recorded with a pal camcorder. I would like to transfer the content to the computer but I dont have pal camcorder anymore with me. I only have a Digital8 NTSC camcorder with me. Is there any option available?

    I would say that if the NTCS camcorder can read and play the PAL tapes, then capturing it should not be an issue either.

    Thanks for your response.
    The NTSC camcorder doesnt read PAL cassettes...
    That is the problem... If there is a workaround, that would be wonderful.
