I'm relatively new to backing up DVDs, but I've found that CloneDVD best suits me. However, I've run into a problem, and I'm wondering if it's common or not. The first movie I backed up was put on a DVD+RW, just in case something went wrong. I knew I could always erase the disc and start over. It burned successully, however, when I went to erase the disc, my PC would not allow me, stating simply that the erase process failed. Then, I tried to use the disc to simply copy over the first movie, and CloneDVD actually allowed me to do so. BUT, when I went to play the newly burned movie, it became extremely "blocky" and scrambled after the first minute of play. Didn't understand how/why, considering Clone DVD announced prior to copying that the disc erased successfully. Any input on this would be appreciated. (I have been using fujifilm dvd blanks and have yet to make a coaster, aside from this RW problem...the RW came free in the box)
