I have pinnacle miro dc 30 pro capture device and i want to capture the video from analog source and use that to stream the video in the internet.
What are the steps involved. I want to stream using widows media server.
Question 1: What resolution should i use to capture ?
Question 2: Can I use miro codec to capture or Microsoft video 1 ?
Question 3: Does the captured avi need to converted for streaming ?
Any help is really appreciated.
Thanks

Use the windows media encoder, it will step you through on the settings that you want and it will serve the stream for you. you can get it here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/9series/encoder/default.aspx it is also a free program.
