I am very new to this... very new. I just started last night with my first VCD and SVCD and the VCD contained two mpeg files... that worked perfectly on my stand alone DVD Player... (My Player: JVC XV-S60BK) however when I decided to make a SVCD my DVD Player didn't play it well. It did play the SVCD, but about every three seconds during the whole viewing it skipped... it would skip, then it would be fine, then it would skip, and that would continue throughout the whole viewing time... It is very annoying... I am using Nero to burn my SVCD and I don't know if there are any settings I could change, but both files I had problems with were .m2v files... is there a way to convert from .m2v to mpeg? Or is there a way I could burn them correctly? Thanks in advance

Yeah, its likely that your DVD player cant handle SVCDs at the bitrate your using, so stick so XVCD
