  1. I have a VCD that I bought and I wanted to know first how to convert it to MPG. Then since it is two big for one CD (750mb) I need to know how to cut it so I can burn it. I believe I can use tmpgenc,but I don't know know? Can someone help me?

    you said you bought a vcd. then you shouldn't have to convert it if its a vcd. But there are many guides here for converting.

  3. You just have to change the .dat file to an .mpg file. I think vcdgear does that. Maybe you can just rename it, I´m not sure.
    If you want to burn it to a cd you have to burn it as a vcd to fit it on the disc(when you burn a cd-r like a vcd it actually fits more, a 700 mb cd fits about 800 mb when burned as a vcd) check the tools section on the left for the software you need.
