Hey there all .....
Will really appreciate it if you can help me with this.
I just ripped 2 fast 2 furious to my hard disk as movie only and i stripped out all subtitles (english) so i ended up with the movie only and Dolby Digital 5.1 sound.
I manage to find subtitles in my language in srt format.
Can i add them in my movie only ripped DVD and end up with a DVD containing movie only and greek subtitles (either permanent or selectable from my standalone's remote control).
Thanking you all in advance.

Hi there,
what you want to do is possible.
There are several ways to do it, ranging from freeware tools to professional DVD Authoring.
The freeware approach is to use IFOEdit to author the DVD. You select the video and audio streams and also add the subtitle stream. You need to convert the subtitles to the proper format first.
The tools to use are all in the Tools section. Sub2Sup is one. Another useful tool might be MaestroSBT (to help you render subtitles from SSA scripts).
Read the guides (specifically regarding handling the .SRT format)The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
