Homemade DVD Error

Hi, this is my first post, and I have a problem with a DVD I made. I made it with 23 seperate movies, all different cells linked one after the other, so it is one big movie, then I burnt it with TMPGEnc DVD Author Burning, and when i play it on my hardware DVD player, it works, but when it reaches cell number 22, halfway through that movie it starts getting really jumpy, as in it stops and plays about 2/10ths of a second, pauses for a few seconds, then plays a little more. I dont know how to fix it. Also, when I load up the main menu, and select the "special Features" button, it freezes. Same as when i select the Credits button in the main menu. Some help would be appreciated! I also tried using Nero, but that didnt work, which is why I am using the burning program that comes with TMPGEnc DVD Author. Does anyone know any good burning programs that work really well other than Nero and TMPG?

Have you tried burning the same project on another disk? Although you might just be wasting another disk (unless you use a DVD+/-RW), it would at least tell you if it's just a bad disk causing the problem.

yeah i have, its not the disk, it does it on another dvd as well

Does the DVD do the same thing if you play it in your PC?

It wont play in the PC, it will only play in my hardware dvd player, and even then it freezes. Yeah thats another question i have too, how do you get it to play in your PC DVD Rom drive AND the hardware player? Actually, it plays in my DVD burner, just not my DVD Rom! (bizzar!) And YES!, it DOES do it when i play it through my burner! I have tried something else, that fixed it, but the problem with the last few movies remains - sthey jump a little at first, but it accelerates and gets worse!

UPDATE: (5 mins after this post) - I tried it in my dvd rom and it played, but there was still an error, when i go to special features, it just keeps scanning the disk in the drive)

Sorry, in that case I don't know what the problem might be. Perhaps some of the more knowledgable members might be able to chip in with a suggestion....?
