  1. well i'm new to makin dvds so here's my progress : i made a video file with tmpgenc and exracted the audio to mp3 then to ac3
    now what should i do with the author i got tmpgenc author but it don't accept the ac3 audio file and says it only takes mp layer 2 files though i heard here that ac3 is the best and most commonly used audio format so will another auhor program accept the ac3?

  2. DVD-lab will accept .m2v files and .ac3 files together.

  3. tmpg dvd author will take a m2v file and a ac3 ,thats all i use, you cant hear the ac3 file in tmpg dvd author cause it dont support ac3 , but when the disc is burnt you will hve sound

    TMPGEnc DVD Author does accept AC-3 files so my guess is that you did not create your AC-3 file correctly (and it is being rejected for that reason) or ... that's all I can think of.

  5. might be the original audio--(your mp3)--rip the same file and save it as a wave file instead of a mp3 then convert to ac3.
