    Hello all, I have been lurking here for about 2 weeks now, reading up on DVD burners. I now have it narrowed down to three models, so please vote for what you think the best deal is.

    Well in my opinion I love the sony drive I got the 500ax and my nephew has the 510a and they are great value for the money..

    I just installed the Sony DRU-510A, so far no problems with it. No coasters and Iv'e burned about 7 dvd-r's on optodisc gold media. I used to have the ASUS dvr-104 which was the same thing as the pioneer dvr-a04, and I never really had a problem with that.

    have the nec drive, but i was torn between that one and the pioneer. Maybe should have bought the pioneer, but nec works fine, so i dont know...
