I was wondering if anyone can help me in figuring out what I am doing wrong in installing the sourceforge WDM driver. I am running Windows XP and have an AverTV studio card. I let the installation program audodetect. Everything installs fine and I can capture both video and audio wonderfully using the S-video connection of the capture card. The problem is when I use the TV tuner, the audio is mute. The picture is fine, but no sound.
I am assuming that the wrong drivers were installed. Can anyone provide any suggestions to fix the problem? Has anyone successfully installed the WDM drivers for an AverTV studio card??
Thanks

Your WDM capture driver appears to be functioning. Check the Audio controls, mixer controls and the audio settings for the capture device.
Are any of your inputs muted? -
If you're sure that your audio control isn't muted somewhere in it's settings then take a look at the webpage http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/custom.html
BTSpy can make a custom install for the WDM driver.
I tried LOADS of times to use the BTWinCap WDM drivers but never got them installed successfully - my pc would crash as soon as i used my TV card.
I recently tried the BTSpy method and now have fully functional BTWinCap WDM installed.
Martin.
