  1. Hi all.

    I have something that's been bugging me about VS7.

    The problem is that there are options for exporting a "greeting card" or a web page with an embedded (DV-AVI format?) movie, but there don't seem to be any options to simply save/export your edited work in real or WM or even mpeg 1 format as a simple video file.

    The manual talks about how to capture straight to WMV or other web-appropriate formats. But that doesn't tell me how to edit and then save in those formats.

    So how do I get edited video out of VS7 in Real, QT or WMV format? In case I need MF2, I have that as well, with the "advanced" mode registry hack.

  2. Shayne,

    In ULEAD VideoStudio 7...

    1. Click SHARE > CREATE VIDEO FILE > CUSTOM;

    2. Next you should observe a CREATE VIDEO FILE pop-up menu appear;

    3. Observe the SAVE AS TYPE drop-down list;

    4. Click the drop-down list arrow to expand the list;

    5. Among the various options, you should see REAL, QUICKTIME, and WINDOWS MEDIA VIDEO options.

    This is all possible using my FULL version of Ulead VideoStudio 7.

    If you don't have the above options, then perhaps you are experiencing a limitation of the "SE" version in which case I would suggest that you consider the UPGRADE:

    Hope this helps,
