    I have the MSI DR4-A Writer as standard atm, it came with firmware 2.17, I have read here that optowrite firmware is also for this drive?

    Could someone point me to which optowrite firmware I need, I havent got a clue.

    got the updated firmware thnx m8.

    Cant flash the drive though as when I come to run it in DOS as soon as it asks me for the .BIN name I get bad command or file name, it wont accept 223D.bin

    I tryed copying both files to the ramdrive but still no good, I'm running XP pro just incase anyone thinks thats where the problem might be.

    Any help greatly appreciated.

    Follow the instruction and you will get it right.
