    This is the first disc I have really having a hard time backing uo. I have tried to back it up with DVDX Copy Xpress and DVDshrink but both fail a few minutes into the process. Any ideas on what I should try now?

    Transcoders choke on MPEG1 video. Is there any MPEG1 in that part of the disc?

    I recently did a backup of T3 using DVDShrink. Try using DVDdecryptor to rip to you hard drive 1st then use shrink to backup...

    DVD Decrypter did the trick for me without any problems. Try it in FILE mode and then compress with DVD Shrink. Then burn with Nero in DVD-Video mode.

    I finally got it to work, seems the disc had a very small smudge on it and cleaning it did the trick.
