    Hi all

Anyone use the plugin for Nero to convert audio files to ac3? Has anyone experienced any playback or compatibility problems on set top or computer DVD players/drives?

    Plugin is found here: http://neroplugins.cd-rw.org/

    Thanks in advance

    From the download page:

For Nero version 5, unzip the plugin DLL into "...\Ahead\Shared\AudioPlugins" directory.
For Nero version 6, unzip the plugin DLL into "\Program Files\Common Files\Ahead\AudioPlugins" directory.
May require Nero Wav Plugin replacement to support more than 2 audio channels.

Then run the Nero Wave Editor. Open an audio file, then Save as, then select Dolby Digital in the Save as type list box.

It seems to be based on the ffmpeg ac3 encoder and ac3s encoded with it doesn't work some dvd players and audio receivers.

  6. I tried this plugin to convert my audio to AC3. I used the standard cofiguration and all worked fine when played on my pioneer dv-454.

Wich Pioneer models have problems playing AC3 made with this program?
