I have a ripped DVD and the subtitles in sub or srt format.
I have already converted the avi xvid file into mv2 and the audio file into wav and made my scenarist layout.
I just can't import the subtitles into scenarist. It only accepts stt file.
I downloaded S3Cnvtr.exe (which claims to convert to scenarist format) but I can't do it...
anyone: any suggestion?
thanks

MaestroSBT converts text-based subtitles (ssa actually) to graphical format subtitles like sst (check that you get an sst text file with a series of bmp files after conversion). I suspect this is the format scenarist requires.
To convert your srt subs to ssa first, there is srt to ssa tool or SubRip.
The other part which, you say, is in sub format ... What kind of sub actually? Is it text? -
well just found out what to do to a .sub text format:
open with sub creator [can play along with the avi file!!!]
make corrections if needed
export as ssa
open with maestro directly
save as scenarist with bmps
