Which external enclosure to use for LG GSA-4040B?

I am looking to purchase an LG GSA-4040B, but don't want to guess on which external enclosure would work.

Please let me know which enclosure you are using and your overall experience thus far with the setup.

I plan to run the enclosure as firewire with XP on my system.

So far my experience with an LG 4040B in a ME-320U external enclosure hasn't been good. Can burn +R +RW, but not -R. I've tried to burn -R with Nero 6, Roxio, and DVD Decryptor as well as a couple different brands of disks, and make more coasters than useable disks. A "SCSI command aborted" error is what happens in Nero. Not sure what the problem is, but others have had similar problems, while others haven't had any trouble. My next step is to make the burner internal and see if -R performance improves.

When I first started using the enclosure everything seemed to work fine, could burn anything, but after a week or so, my problems started.

Well, I swapped my LG4040B in the ME-320 enclosure with my internal DVD-ROM. With the LG 4040B as an internal drive, it works perfectly. So far no more problems with making coasters out of DVD-R.
