  1. I'm hoping someone here can help me with an issue I'm having. I'm using WinTVCap to capture TV shows using my PVR-250 tuner. If I try to author these "program" files using dvdauthor, I get the following errors repeatedly
    Code:
WARN: System header found, but PCI/DSI information is not where expected
(make sure your system header is 18 bytes!)
WARN: Skipping sector, waiting for first VOBU...
I was wondering if anyone has had any luck capping to MPEG & authoring directly with dvdauthor, preferably using a HalfD1 (more shows on one disk).

Oh yeah, I almost forgot, I'm doing all of this under Windows XP Pro as well.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Sorry, I just edited my post to include URL's to both WinTVCap & dvdauthor.

Dvdauthor is a linux based tool that builds a DVD filesystem IFO's VOB's and all that good stuff. These tools can also be compiled to run under Windows using Cygwin.

I'm trying to do all of this via command line to automate the process. Thanks for the quick reply!
