    I get a error "ACM reported error on audio decompress" when i try to convert the avi file to a wave.

    Whats wrong , what do I need to do?

    Have you tested your file with Gspot to make sure you have the codecs?
    I use Goldwave for all my audio extraction, load the avi then save.
