    Hi
I have been practising copying DVDs with several tools but I have this doubt as to what final format have my copies come out as.
For the first I used DvdFAv to copy the main movie and burned with Nero
The other method used anydvd and Elby's Clone DVD again to copy the main movie and menus
How can I identify and know in what type of final format and what conventinal DVD player will they play on?
    Thank you

PS and the media used is Maxell DVD-R
    Media Information
    Disc Regions are 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
    Media code/Manufacturer ID MXLRG01
    Format Type UDF 1.02

Ok I'll try to express myself better
Will these DVD-r be playable in any standard DVD player and or PS2 or Xbox consoles?
I'd like to share some of these movies with my friends and I don't know if this is possible since some palyers will restrict to some formats or reject non original copies.
    thank you

if you check this site's dvd player list you can find out which dvd players will play dvd-r's.

    https://www.videohelp.com/dvdplayers

the playstation 2 and xbox should be able to play dvd-r's.

Thanks for the link to players but yes that is right no all players will play recorded DVDs few of them are picky
I have been offfered a Pioneer that handles most formats except DVD+R but I guess perhaps I should wait for LiTeOn player

  7. It also depends on the burning software. You could have a DVD compliant VIDEO_TS folder but if your burning software doesn't burn the data correctly (like using UDF 1.5 instead of 1.02 or something to that effect), your DVD player may reject the disc.
