hello bit of a problem after recent format reinstalled everything ,but when i save wav with virtual dub and try to rename it ac3 file it wont let me change it . i can change the file name but it stays as a wave file , i know i made a change in xp but cant remember what i did ,any help or link thanks all

You have to run the WAV through an audio transcoder to get an AC3.
Besweet will do it.
