    Anybody know who makes the Mad Dog MD-4XDVDRW-M (DVD-R) writer? Staples was selling these on Black Friday? Or any experiences with one? My searches have yielded zero info on these. Thanks!

    Hi-- I saw your old post.

    The drive is actually a Toshiba sd-r5112. I got one for $59 @ Officemax after rebates + I used a $20 discount card from Officemax.

    works fairly well.
